Our Core Principles

When we approach the Scriptures, we do so with reverence, carefulness, and a commitment to let God’s Word speak for itself. These principles guide our study and teaching:

• The Bible is our sole authority. We rely entirely on the inspired Word of God as the standard of truth.

• God’s Word never contradicts itself. If our understanding creates a contradiction, it is our interpretation — not God’s Word — that must change.

• Scripture must be studied in its fullness. We consider every passage, angle, and context before reaching a conclusion.

• Every conclusion carries consequences. The truths we draw from Scripture shape our faith, life, and eternal hope.

• Context matters. We ask: Who is speaking? To whom? When and where was it said? Why and how was it given? Context allows the meaning of Scripture to shine with clarity.
