About Us
At the heart of this work is a simple conviction: our only authority is the Word of God. We hold firmly to Scripture alone as the foundation of truth, teaching, and practice.
“No prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.”
— 2 Peter 1:20–21 (NKJV)
Because God has spoken through His Word, every doctrine, teaching, and belief must be tested against the Scriptures.
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”
— 1 John 4:1 (NKJV)
Our Core Principles
When we approach the Scriptures, we do so with reverence, carefulness, and a commitment to let God’s Word speak for itself. These principles guide our study and teaching:
The Bible is our sole authority. We rely entirely on the inspired Word of God as the standard of truth.
God’s Word never contradicts itself. If our understanding creates a contradiction, it is our interpretation — not God’s Word — that must change.
Scripture must be studied in its fullness. We consider every passage, angle, and context before reaching a conclusion.
Every conclusion carries consequences. The truths we draw from Scripture shape our faith, life, and eternal hope.
Context matters. We ask: Who is speaking? To whom? When and where was it said? Why and how was it given? Context allows the meaning of Scripture to shine with clarity.
Why We Exist
This blog is not about opinion, tradition, or speculation. It is about holding forth the light of Scripture, letting God’s Word be the authority, and encouraging others to test every teaching by the Bible.
Our prayer is that through these studies, you will see more clearly the harmony, depth, and power of God’s truth — and that your faith will rest not in the wisdom of men, but in the Word of the living God.
